How can I make a request of equipment replacement for steal?

The Program cannot process a claim for loss or steal in the education institutions, since once the equipment is dispatched to the centers they are immediately removed from the inventories. Likewise, once the transport company delivers the equipment, the mayor’s office and the education institution are responsible for insuring safety and integrity of the equipment.


Is it possible to be a beneficiary in case of a low enrolment rate?

All education institutions listed in the databases of the National Education Ministry (MEN) are possible beneficiaries of Computadores para Educar.


I am not an Education Institution, Cultural Center or Library, may I request the benefit?

Legally, it is not possible to deliver equipment to entities other than the ones mentioned. Private or mixed institutions, natural persons, mayor’s offices, hospitals, boards of community action, mother groups, foundations, NGOs, etc. are not eligible.


How can I request the Program to benefit my education institution with computer equipment?

You must register your request through the toll-free national line 018000-949596, informing the name of the institution, municipality and department to which it belongs and the corresponding contact data (address, telephone number and email).


What requirement should I fulfill to request the equipment of Computadores para Educar?

Be an official Education Institution, Cultural Center or Library having the needs of penetration, replacement or reinforcement.
