Bogotá, March 30th, 2017. It concerns the designation of a Fulbright specialist in the second half of this year. The decision was made based on the evaluation performed to the program of the Government and, above all, to the impact the program has generated for the development of Colombia.
Computadores para Educar will be the beneficiary of the program Fulbright U.S. Specialist. The American expert is Margareth Albers, she will be in the country for 40 days and will analyze in conjunction with the team of Computadores para Educar, the training strategy for teachers and the educational community.
The Ph.D. Margareth Albers, better known as Peggy Albers, is a professor of the education program of the College of Education & Human Development of Georgia State University. Professor of literacy and English courses at the postgraduate level and works in training teachers for early childhood.
The proposal was submitted in the year 2016, through the International Office of the Ministry.
